A trip down the river…

Second Year program leaves base camp on Sunday morning and travels to Kamsack. They are dropped off at Camp Zukoff, which is where they spend their first night before beginning their traveling adventure the next morning.

This program focuses more on perfecting canoeing skills, as well as light weight packing and having fun. The trip ends at Pyotts Point Manitoba and is picked up on Friday afternoon.

Along the way one will indulge in a home cooked meal provided by a Campanoe approved family, nothing like BBQ after a long day on the water.

The winding river allows for a leisurely paddle, because of the twists and turns one will encounter all four side of the famous, “Red Barn”. Also included with this trip is the opportunity to see many varieties of animals both in the morning and at night.
